So sad. How are you guys? I hope your house is alright. I can't believe we were just there the week before it happened! We stayed across the street from the Opry land hotel. Was the mall flooded too? (Opry mills) I too have been amazed at how little it's been on the news.
We're fine. Our backyard nearly washed away but that's hardly worth mentioning considering all of the destruction around us. I know SO many people who lost homes, jobs, relatives, etc... It's awful. Being a hygienist, I've had patient after patient telling me their stories and it wears on you over time. So sad! However, Nashville is really coming together.... it's amazing to see the community reaching out to everyone.
The mall is closed indefinitely Devan. They're saying it could be months. The Aquarium restaurant lost all of their fish too. =(
